option to enable anonymisation when setting up an assignment.<\/p><p>The two main settings when it comes to anonymisation are:<\/p><ol><li>Anonymous Grading<\/li><li>Anonymous Instructor an assignment click the box 'Graders\u00a0cannot view student names'<\/p><p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1172\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.qub.ac.uk\/digitallearning-2023\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/68\/2018\/11\/Anon-Grad.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"545\" height=\"103\" the student names are hidden within Gradebook and Speedgrader with students referred to as Student 1, 2, 3 etc.<\/p><p>Choosing this option means that grades and feedback are automatically hidden from students until they are manually posted by a member of staff.<\/p><p>The student submissions will also be greyed out in Gradebook so it is not possible to see here which students have submitted.<\/p><p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5169 size-full aligncenter\" view submissions is through Speedgrader where any student submissions will appear as they are made with a yellow dot (a tick appears once it is marked)<\/p><p><img decoding=\"async\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"heading-8112\">\n\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-content\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>You can enable anonymous annotations through the settings when creating an assignment, student will not be able to see the instructor name against any annotated feedback provided.<\/p><p>The instructor name will appear against any comments made in the 'comments' box when grading within Speedgrader.<\/p><p>Enabling anonymous annotations DOES NOT auto-mute the assignment.<\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"><strong>For more information please see: <a
