The <strong>Automated Scheduling Tool<\/strong> on Queen&#8217;s Online brings all upcoming lecture recordings together in one place, allowing staff to review and manage them. Staff should use the tool to check that recordings are scheduled correctly and make any required changes in advance.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>If you do not wish a lecture to be recorded, you can opt out quickly and easily using the Scheduling Tool. Other teaching formats are excluded.<\/li><li>Schools are responsible for ensuring timetabling data is accurate and kept up to date.<\/li><li>Recording settings can be applied either to an entire lecture series or to individual lectures within a series.<\/li><li>Where a Canvas course has multiple Teachers (e.g. team teaching arrangements), the <strong data-start=\"686\" data-end=\"709\">Partially Automated<\/strong> setting must be used when managing recording settings for individual lectures.<\/li><li data-start=\"268\" data-end=\"349\">In most cases, lecturers are responsible for managing their own recording settings. However, staff with a <strong>Teacher<\/strong>, <strong>TA<\/strong>, or <strong>Designer<\/strong> role in QSIS can also manage recording settings for a module.<\/li><li data-start=\"268\" data-end=\"349\">Recording settings can be changed up to <strong>one hour before the scheduled lecture start time<\/strong>.
