There was a great turnout at today’s Canvas, Coffee and Cake session. First off, we heard from Gail Anderson from the School of Nursing and Midwifery who told us about her experiences of putting together her first course on Canvas.

Next we heard from Dr Eva Sweeney of the Centre for Biomedical Science Education. She showed how she had incorporated and embedded a variety of educational apps into her Canvas course, to create a very student-focused learning experience.

Finally we had some updates from the VLE Pedagogy team on the next steps for the roll-out, how to make sure your course is fully published and how to exploit the full potential of the Grades area.
