It could be a blog post, a drawing, a word cloud, or a mind map (to name a few examples).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will pair your work with an expert in children&#8217;s rights. They will add a response to your work, covering the boring stuff. We want to hear about your opinions, experiences, and ideas for solutions!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have a few rules before submitting:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Your blog post must be no longer than 1000 words.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must submit your post in Word. You can send this to James Kane at j.kane@qub.ac.uk<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any font is fine. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50)\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-text-subtitle has-large-font-size is-style-text-subtitle--2\"><strong>For Academics, Policymakers and Practitioners<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We accept submissions on any topic relating to the rights of children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have a few rules before submitting:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Your blog post must be between 1000 and 1500 words.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must submit your post in Word. You can send this to James Kane at j.kane@qub.ac.uk<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any font is fine.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use headings if needed, but do not use more than one level.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please do <strong>not<\/strong> include footnotes. Instead, place any references in parenthesis at the end of the sentence. Insert embedded hyperlinks to the supporting material and to previous Children&#8217;s Rights Blog posts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please include an image which can be used as a cover for your blog post, it should be relevant to your post&#8217;s content.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please include a short bio and photo of yourself.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:8px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are responding to a child or young person:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be respectful. Address each of the child or young person&#8217;s points and respond, in full, with context and further detail.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Suggest ideas and solutions. Has the issue been solved in another jurisdiction? Maybe you, or other academics, policymakers and practitioners are proposing a solution?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:8px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are submitting stand-alone expert analysis:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Please make a novel contribution to the field, and do not replicate content already posted on the Blog or elsewhere.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For Children and Young People We want to hear about an issue that matters to you!
