The programme is for those Queen&#8217;s students who are considering attending the <strong>NI Grad Fair<\/strong>, and \/ or who <strong>haven&#8217;t yet secured graduate employment. <\/strong>It is also open to <strong>recent Queen&#8217;s graduates<\/strong> who have graduated in the past two years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The programme will be delivered in a fully accessible,&nbsp;<strong>hybrid<\/strong>&nbsp;and interactive context meaning that participants can join online or in person. (A Microsoft Teams link will be sent via email once participants are confirmed).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The location for anyone attending in-person is the&nbsp;<strong>Student Hub, Queen&#8217;s Business School<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The programme aims to:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Enhance employability<\/strong> helping you to develop your practical skills and providing you with tools and strategies to navigate the job market.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Boost confidence and resilience<\/strong>, helping graduates with how to deal with rejection and stay motivated, build a growth mindset, and enhance their strengths profile and skill development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Improve lifelong career skills, <\/strong>helping you to develop transferable skills that can be applied across all career stages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Career Launch will also prepare students for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nigradfair.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>NI Grad Fair<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0which is on 2nd June 2026<\/strong>, you&#8217;ll learn how to navigate the fair, speak to employers and make a good first impression.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Queen&#8217;s students and recent Queen&#8217;s graduates can apply via our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.qub.ac.uk\/directorates\/sgc\/careers\/careers-events\/CareerLaunch.html\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.qub.ac.uk\/directorates\/sgc\/careers\/careers-events\/CareerLaunch.html\">Careers events page<\/a>. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(Please note Career Launch will take place both online and in-person on&nbsp;<strong>Monday 25 May and Tuesday 26 May from 10:30am &#8211; 1pm&nbsp;<\/strong>and attendees need to attend the workshop on<strong>&nbsp;both days.)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>You can register for the NI Grad Fair at <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nigradfair.org\"><strong>www.nigradfair.org<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.qub.ac.uk\/careers\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/25\/2026\/04\/ni_grad_fair_2026_800x533.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2466\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.qub.ac.uk\/careers\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/25\/2026\/04\/ni_grad_fair_2026_800x533.jpg 800w, https:\/\/blogs.qub.ac.uk\/careers\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/25\/2026\/04\/ni_grad_fair_2026_800x533-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.qub.ac.uk\/careers\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/25\/2026\/04\/ni_grad_fair_2026_800x533-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Get Prepared in Advance of the NI Grad Fair with Career Launch On 25 and 26 May 2026 we are hosting Career Launch, a new programme to help you to enhance your employability and boost your confidence.
