Congratulations to MSc CPM student group

Congratulations to a student group from the Construction and Project Management class on achieving 2nd place in the i-Rec international student competition to produce ‘innovative ideas to radically improve post-disaster reconstruction strategies and/or to reduce disasters in developing countries’.

The prize winning group was Jennifer Kane, Lauren Flanagan, Alex Sleator, Gary Hughes & Daniel Clarke Hagan. They submitted an entry proposing a solution to isolated flooding in Pakistan, adjudged by an international pool of expert practitioners and academics to tackle significant local issues in a context-sensitive manner with innovative solutions. They have been awarded a prize of $1000.
