Getting to Belfast
Belfast has two airports. Belfast City Airport is only 3 miles from the City centre and 6 miles from the Workshop venue, while Belfast International Airport is about 18 miles north-west of Belfast. Both airports are served by public transport (Airport Express 600 and Airport Express 300). A taxi from Belfast City Airport to Queen’s University costs about £10, while that from Belfast International would be about £30.
The bus from both the Belfast International Airport and from Belfast City Airport will bring you to the Europa Bus Centre in Belfast city centre, about 0.7 miles north of Queen’s University. Taxis are available outside the bus centre. One can also take bus numbers 8A, 8B, 8C or 8D to Queen’s University (bus stop across the road from Europa Bus Centre in Great Victoria Street). Tickets can be purchased from the driver.
