We develop theoretical and computational methods to describe the interactions of antimatter with atoms, molecules and condensed matter, to provide fundamental insight required to support and direct experiment, inform other theory, and develop antimatter-based technologies. The group director is Dr Dermot Green.

EXCITON+ is our in-house Gaussian-basis C/C++ MPI parallelised code for many-body calculations (GW and beyond) of positron interactions (binding, scattering and annihilation) in atoms and molecules.
EXCITON+ will be a bona-fide open source code, licensed under a Mozilla MPL v2.0. It is currently undergoing development to make it accessible for users external to our group.
