Dermot was appointed by the Northern Ireland Education Minister to chair the NI Curriculum Taskforce Science Working Group, tasked with redesigning the Northern Ireland Science curriculum from foundation stage to Key Stage 3 (covering primary and secondary schools ages ~5-14).

We are delighted to have Dr Andrew Swann re-joining us, now as a Senior Research Fellow, after having a period out of research to successfully complete a PGCE in mathematics teaching. Andrew will be a key member of our ERC research project.
