Welcome to the Antimatter & many-body theory group of Dermot Green at Queen’s University Belfast!

We develop theoretical and computational methods to describe the interactions of antimatter with atoms, molecules and condensed matter, to provide fundamental insight required to support and direct experiment, inform other theory, and develop antimatter-based technologies. The group director is Dr Dermot Green.

Dermot gave an invited talk at the 5th Jagiellonian Symposium on Advances in Particle and Medical Physics, in Krakow, Poland. The week long conference covered aspects of positrons and positronium in medicine and imaging with numerous world experts presenting developments in positron emission tomography, as well as sessions on fundamental physics. Dermot spoke in the POSITRONIUM IN FUNDAMENTAL AND MATERIAL PHYSICS session.
