Web of Science enables you to receive emails automatically when new issues of journals are indexed in the Web of Science Database.<\/p>\n

  1. Access Web of Science via this link<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. At the search screen, change the search field to \u2018Publication Titles\u2019 and begin typing in the title of the journal \u2013 Web of Science will then display matching titles which are indexed in the database. Choose the correct title, then click \u2018Search\u2019:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    3. Next, on the right hand side of the page, click \u2018Create Alert\u2019:<\/p>\n

    1. You\u2019ll then be asked to login with a Web of Science account \u2013 if you do not already have an account, click on \u2018Register\u2019 \u2013 it only takes a moment to do so.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      1. Next, once you have signed in, give your alert a name, then click \u2018Create\u2019<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        \"\"<\/p>\n

        6. Web of Science will then confirm that the email alert is set up. By default, you will receive a weekly email if there are any new results from the journal, but you can change the frequency of the emails by clicking on \u2018Manage Alerts\u2019:<\/p>\n

        1. When you receive a Web of Science alert email, it will appear like this \u2013 to access the article record in Web of Science, simply click on the title:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          1. You will then be taken to the record in Web of Science, and you can then check for the full text PDF, by using the \u2018Check Full Text Availability\u2019 link, or (if available) the \u2018Free Full Text from Publisher\u2019 link:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            1. If you wish to edit or remove your alert, login into Web of Science, then click on the \u2018Saved Searches and Alerts\u2019 icon on the left hand side of the page:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              1. You can then select the alert you wish to change and click \u2018more options\u2019, then either edit the alert preferences, or \u2018Remove\u2019:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
