Suggest a Book for the Library<\/strong>
\n<\/span>Help\u00a0us\u00a0shape the AFBI Library\u00a0book\u00a0collection.\u00a0We welcome suggestions for books that support your work\u00a0or\u00a0research\u00a0area.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>If\u00a0there\u2019s\u00a0a title you think would be useful for you or your colleagues,\u00a0in either print or e-book format,\u00a0you can\u00a0submit\u00a0a suggestion online using our Book Proposal Form:<\/span> <\/span>\ud83d\udc49<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>AFBI Library Book Proposal Form<\/span><\/a>

<\/span>Accessing Standards<\/strong>
\n<\/span>Did you know that the\u00a0Library\u00a0can help you access British Standards,\u00a0International Standards\u00a0and other recognised standards needed\u00a0to carry out your\u00a0AFBI\u00a0work?<\/span>
\n<\/span>If a standard you require isn\u2019t already available, you can request that the library purchases a print copy. Just send us the standard no. and title with a brief note on how it supports your work. We\u2019ll advise on availability, access and any usage restrictions.<\/span>

Book Swap
\n<\/strong>A new book swap bookcase is now located in the AFBI Newforge Library, currently stocked with a selection of titles kindly donated by the wife of the late Ian Rea, former AFBI colleague.
\nStaff are warmly invited to browse the collection and take any books that catch their interest. You are also encouraged to contribute by leaving any books you\u2019ve finished reading, helping to keep the collection fresh and shared among colleagues.<\/p>\n
