2011 – 2012
Our mission is to embolden students at our university in order to encourage a diverse range of views and opinions on the conflict in Israel – Palestine with an outlook of finding fresh ideas that can be used by activists at our University to help find solutions to the on-going human rights abuses that are perpetuated against the Palestinian people.
To this end we would state:
In a conflict filled with both simple and highly complex issues, the Palestine Solidarity Society makes its first principle one of a dedicated focus on Human Rights through, objective and inclusive debate. We advocate on behalf of the Palestinians in their struggle for equality and justice by reaffirming the principles of international law, human rights and nonviolence.
