Over 6,000 OUP e-books added to to the QCat Library Catalogue

E-book access to over 6,000 Oxford University Press titles has now been added to the QCat Library Catalogue. The e-books will be available until April 2015 and cover a broad range of subjects in the arts, humanities and social sciences. After April, the Library will retain up to 200 of the most used titles as permanent additions to the catalogue.

The books can also be accessed by title area from the Oxford Scholarship website. Full text access is available both on and off campus (Queen’s login required for off campus access).

Titles are available from the following subject collections: History, Law, Linguistics, Literature, Music, Religion, Classical Studies, Philosophy, Political Science, Business & Management, Economics & Finance, Sociology, and Social Work.

As we will only be able to retain a relatively small proportion of the e-books now available, we would encourage everyone to make full use of the titles in the period to April 2015, in order that our purchased titles will best reflect current research and teaching interests.
