A Noise Alert Service will operate in the McClay Library during the weeks of 24 hours opening (2nd Dec-14th Dec and 2nd Jan-20th Jan). You can report any problems you experience with noise in the Whisper Zones and Silent Study Areas in the Library during staffed hours (i.e. Monday-Thursday 9.00am-9.30pm; Friday 9.00am-8.00pm; Saturday 10.00am-5.00pm and Sunday 12.00-5.00pm) by emailing noise.mcclay@qub.ac.uk. You need to indicate your floor as well as the location on that floor and provide a brief description of the problem. A member of staff will visit the location you are working in as soon as possible.

Thank you for your comments. I alerted staff to the issue and hopefully the matter was resolved. As you are replying to the Blog message we will not be able to deal with your complaint immediately because it does not feed directly to our Noise Alert Service email which is constantly monitored. hi I am on the first floor in a silent study area and there are 2 boys talking extremely loudly, at the window approximately in the middle of the floor.
