Young Epilepsy is a national charity working to support young people with epilepsy throughout the UK. We are currently undertaking a project in collaboration with the National Union of Students to develop a better understanding of the concerns and issues that can impact on young people with epilepsy as they study at university.
We also want to know more about what support young people with epilepsy want and need to make the most of their time at university. It is important for us to establish what help is currently available and where there is room for improvement.
Over the coming months – from September to December 2012 – we are looking for young people with epilepsy studying atUKuniversities who would be willing to talk to us about their experiences. Interviews would take no more than an hour and would be at a time and place that is convenient for participants.
We will use the findings from our project to develop better support services for young people with epilepsy studying at university.
