Shaping a better London, and ideas for Northern Ireland

PLACE and QUB ARCSOC present a lecture by Mark Brearley, in the Canada Room of the Lanyon Building, on Wednesday 18 March between 18:00-19:30. Mark is an architect, the Head of Cass Cities and an Associate Professor at London Metropolitan University.
There will be a showing of what can be achieved through a a range of strategies and initiatives, charming some money as well as making do, being persuasive with good ideas, constructively challenging, looking with care, focusing on high streets and sorting out the public realm projects. This could all be of great relevance as Northern Ireland’s new super councils begin to form their regeneration teams.
